About Soundary
Neither mood nor cognition is settled by a single test. Soundary keeps every result you record so that, when you retake a test, you can see for yourself what has improved and what remains.
What Soundary offers
Soundary currently offers 123 free tests: 63 mental-health self-report scales (depression, anxiety, sleep, stress and more), 43 cognitive and attention tasks (reaction time, working memory, inhibitory control), and 17 personality tests (Big Five, DISC, attachment style and others). Every result appears immediately with a score and interpretation; signed-in results are saved and compared with later rounds.
How the tests are built
Soundary was designed by a psychiatrist. Mental-health scales either use openly available instruments as they are used in clinical practice (PHQ-9, GAD-7 and others) or were written by Soundary with reference to published diagnostic criteria and literature. Each test page states which in its Source section, and self-written items are labelled as not being a translation of any standardized instrument.
Cognitive and attention tasks are Soundary's own web implementations of published academic paradigms such as Stroop, Go/No-Go and N-back. They are not commercial test products, and each task page cites its source paradigm. Personality tests were written with items and results in all four languages.
What Soundary is not
Every Soundary test is a self-screening, not a medical diagnosis. A high score does not mean you have a condition and a low score does not rule one out. If a result worries you or symptoms interfere with daily life, please see a mental health professional. Guide articles are general information, not individual medical advice.

These checks are self-screening, not a medical diagnosis. Diagnosis requires a clinician.
